I have been immersed in the legal field since 2002, commencing my career at Sultan Lloyds Solicitors. Subsequently, I founded my own practice, Ahmad & Williams Solicitors, where I spearheaded the Immigration, EU, Human Rights, and Corporate Law departments. After dedicating 15 years to my firm, I established another venture, Birmingham Law Partnership, in 2018. Despite my success in the legal arena, a longstanding desire to pursue an academic career led me to embark on a Doctorate, which I recently submitted in 2023.
My academic journey is complemented by a Doctorate in Gender Equality and Diversity and three distinguished Postgraduate Qualifications—a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Leicester, a Master of Science (MSc) from Coventry University, and a Master of Laws (LLM) from Strathclyde University, Glasgow. My commitment to education extends beyond personal pursuits, as I have been actively engaged in teaching undergraduate students at the University of West of Scotland and Birmingham College of Business and Law, catering to postgraduate students as well. Currently, I am involved in teaching at a prestigious law university in the Midlands, teaching Corporate and Business Law.
Recognised by the Law Society as a Senior Immigration Law Caseworker, I presently maintain multiple memberships with esteemed legal and research organisations. Beyond my professional affiliations, my involvement in various research projects, including the composition of research papers, underscores my dedication to advancing legal scholarship. Additionally, I contribute my perspectives on contemporary issues as a panel member for several renowned international newspapers.
Fueling my passion for mentorship and guidance, I aspire to impart my knowledge and experience to aspiring lawyers navigating the challenges of this highly competitive profession.
